Kyle Noke - UFC Fighter

jacksons.tv:  Where are you from in Australia?

Kyle Noke:  I’m from a place called the “Sunshine Coast”.   It’s about an hour north of Brisbane in Queensland.

jacksons.tv:  Did you play any sports while growing up in Australia?

Kyle Noke:  I played basketball, rugby league and rugby union.  I tried to stay as active as I could because there wasn’t too much else to do. 

Jackson's MMA Series I Results

Albuquerque, NM – In front of a packed Hard Rock Casino & Hotel Showroom and before a live pay-per-view internet audience MMA fighters clashed in the cage at the inaugural Jackson’s MMA Series I event on June 5^th.   The show featured DJ Landon Dyksterhouse spinning and mashing-up music.   The internet pay-per-viewing provided a unique on-line fan experience with fan interactive chat and video sharing.  Look for Jacksons MMA Series II coming September 4, 2010.

Melvin Guillard Interview

jacksons.tv:  Where are you originally from? 

Melvin Guillard:  Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was actually raised in a little town called Kenner.  It’s like two minutes from New Orleans. I went to Bonnable High School.  My mom’s family is originally from Lafayette so I have a lot of family spread out through the area.  I have a lot of family throughout the Bayou area and also in Baton Rouge.  I played football and wrestled.  I was a state champion in wrestling.  I was a state MVP and wrestled one year in college at Colby.  I wrestled two years for junior national freestyle and Greco. 

jacksons.tv:  Did you like freestyle or Greco better?

Melvin Guillard:  I enjoyed both.  They were a lot different in many ways; however, it was all wrestling to me.   It was actually more fun than the collegiate style wrestling.  I enjoyed it a lot for the two years that I did it.
